On the 4th of February, the Placement Office at the Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Maratib Ali School of Education (SOE) organized Interview Sessions for the outgoing batches of MPhil and Executive MPhil Education Leadership and Management programme. The event attracted experts from the education industry who were invited to interview students for recruitment purposes and offer insights into the job market.

Representatives from top organizations, including The Citizens Foundation (TCF), Ed Kasa, City School, Centre of Economic Research Pakistan (CERP), Programme Monitoring and Implementation Unit (PMIU), Aziz Jehan Begum Trust and Institute for the Blind (AJBT), Idara-e-Taleemo Agahi (ITA), Tintash, Beaconhouse School System, Outclass and Oxford University Press (OUP) were in attendance. They provided valuable insights into the demands of the education sector and the necessary skill sets for success. The verbal and written feedback given by the interviewers is another essential aspect of the Interview Sessions. This feedback helped students understand their strengths and weaknesses, and where they need to focus their efforts to improve. Furthermore, the request from certain participating organizations to directly connect with the students they intend to hire serves as a strong testament to the quality of the students and the potential they hold.

Prior to the interview session, the Placement Office provided training sessions on resume writing, gap analysis, placement expectations, and interview skills. These sessions are highly beneficial for students that help to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to make a positive impression during the interview process and stand out to potential employers.

The event was well-attended by enthusiastic students who were eager to be interviewed by multiple organizations and receive feedback.
