The 2025 Convocation at the Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Maratib Ali School of Education marked a proud milestone as the MPhil in Education Leadership and Management (ELM) program reached a total of 58 graduates, 34 from the full-time track and 24 from the weekend track. The ceremony celebrated the academic and professional accomplishments of a cohort deeply committed to educational equity and innovation. Areej Mehmood was awarded the prestigious NMF Gold Medal, while two graduates received the Shahla Andarabi Award for Academic Excellence. Eight students were named to the Dean’s Honour List, and thirteen were recognised for outstanding Capstone Projects addressing complex challenges in education. 

The keynote address was delivered by acclaimed novelist Kamila Shamsie, and Dr. Ali Cheema along with Osman Khalid presented the degrees and awards to the graduating cohort. Faculty in attendance included Dr. Tayyaba Tamim (Dean), Dr. Razia Iram Sadik (Associate Professor), Ms. Aaishay Haque and Mr. Ahmad Ayub (Teaching Fellows), and Dr. Shahrman Khattak (Adjunct Faculty), who joined in celebrating the achievements of the Class of 2025.

As these graduates step into the field, they carry forward the mission of the School, Be Leaders of Education Reform.
