LUMS Professional Education Office and IBPAK Association Sign MoU to Expand Opportunities for IB Students
The Professional Education Office at the School of Education (SOE), LUMS, has formalised a partnership with the IBPAK Association through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking an important step towards expanding opportunities for students enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Career-related Programme (CP) in Pakistan.
Through this partnership, LUMS will introduce a Career-related Studies (CRS) pathway in Business Studies for IB CP students, providing them with an opportunity to develop relevant knowledge and skills that complement their IB education and support their academic and professional journeys.
The collaboration reflects LUMS’ commitment to creating meaningful learning pathways and strengthening partnerships that connect education with the evolving needs of the world of work. It also creates opportunities for greater engagement between LUMS and the IB community in Pakistan, with a shared focus on supporting students through relevant and enriching learning experiences.
SOE extends its appreciation to Dr. Tayyaba Tamim, Dean, School of Education, LUMS, and Uzma Shujat, Regional Development Manager, International Baccalaureate, for their leadership and support in bringing this partnership to life. The School also acknowledges the IBPAK Association and the teams at both organisations for their collaboration and shared commitment to expanding opportunities for IB students in Pakistan.
