On Friday, 21 February, 2020 SOE MPhil cohort 2021 spent the day relishing what old Lahore had to offer them; authentic desi cuisine on the rooftop of a renowned restaurant housed in an ancient high-rise building with a beautiful view of the historical landmarks of the city; adventurous walk through the crowded, narrow winding roads; vibrant bazaars and the majestic experience of the Badshahi mosque. The group of thirty enthusiastic and energetic students made the best of the beautiful weather with lots of fun, laughter and singing. For some of them who belong to KPK and Sindh it was a great insight into the rich and exotic culture of the city. The students created happy memories with a desire to return to further explore the marvels of the Walled city.
